So much and more - There are certain paintings that hold more meaning to me then others. I don’t know if it’s because of the thoughts or memories that rush through my mind at the time of painting or if it’s the colours I use. This one for some odd reason reminds me of my late grandma. Sometimes I miss her so much, I find myself visualising myself driving to my parents house to stand at their kitchen window. My parents house and my grandmas house used to be on the same block without a fence between the houses, so I always saw my grandma waving back or signalling for me to run over because she had some food for me. This one is definitely a piece that is full of love but also so much more then that. It’s a wave of emotions really.
